The Borrowdale Hotel

I enjoyed the place and its staff and rooms. The hotel of choice in Keswick.

The breakfast had plenty of fruit and pastries. The staff were pleasant and superfriendly and the location was stunning close to derwentwater lake. Actually everything was perfect, my next choice again in Keswick.

Charming old, quirky with a warm reception. Perfect position in the very nice area, not far from Derwent Water and the borrowdale valley and Keswick.

The staff was efficient, the room was attractive and freshly decorated. Besides, the location was fab for our stay, within 25 minutes' walk of Ashness Bridge. We dined at a good nearby restaurant with local dishes. The place was reasonably priced.

The property was fairly clean and brilliant, had very good staff and food. The room was perfect with comfortable beds, I enjoyed it.

Simply wonderful location for visiting Keswick, it's close to Keswick, Derwent Water and the borrowdale.

Staff and rooms were amazing, I loved it. There was lakes and hills walk from the place. The restaurant was excellent, it had distinguished meals. This hotel was a characterful base for a short break.

The venue is fairly clean and reasonably spacious, views are great, the location is ideal close to the borrowdale and the lake and Derwent Water. Warm unit. Delightfully helpful staff ensures you spend a very good time here. Contemporary hotel and very good service. Besides, parking is on site.

Great value, it was spotless. I enjoyed staff and amenities, which were good. Found in a relaxing area. Also, surprise view was 2 km away. Nice large bedroom and luxury bathroom.

It was a fantastic stay, dog friendly place. Fairly clean, exceptionally comfortable bed, spectacular location. Very very nice staff was available all the time. The hotel had a bar in the reception.

The decor was traditional, staff was brilliantly helpful, and the place was exceptionally clean. Good sized bedroom with a modern bathroom. The service in the property was courteous too.

It deserves its 4 stars. We really enjoyed the hotel, its lovely food and service. Moreover, free Wi-Fi was provided. We tried some restaurants, including mizu pan-asian which boasted a wonderful cuisine.

This hotel is an easy base for a weekend in Keswick. Well-trained staff, elegant room and favourable location. A wide array of BRILLIANT food in the restaurant. There was a garden too.

We could visit one of our favourite spots lodore falls in front of the hotel. Nothing bothered us. Food is great. The venue met required needs, we would love to come back. Location, walking distance to all attractions...

The hotel was spotlessly clean, service was great. Convenient for a family.
